These terms govern the use of this site and the psychotherapy services provided by Espaço Âncora.

By using this site or booking a session, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions.
The services
Espaço Âncora provides psychotherapy exclusively online, by video call (Google Meet), in Portuguese and English. Sessions are led by psychologists registered with the Portuguese Order of Psychologists — Marta Vilela Guimarães (adults, couples and adolescents) and Sofia Montenegro (children and young people).
Not an emergency service
Online care does not replace urgent medical or psychiatric care. In a crisis or emergency, call 112, the SNS 24 line (808 24 24 24), or go to an emergency service.
Booking, fees and cancellations
Sessions last 50 minutes, and the first session is free. Payment is by bank transfer or MB WAY. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance; below that, the session may be charged.
Work with minors
Care for minors requires the consent of their legal guardians.
Confidentiality
Everything shared in a session is protected by professional confidentiality, within the limits set by law and by the Code of Ethics of the Portuguese Order of Psychologists. Sessions must not be recorded or shared without consent.
Intellectual property
The content of this site (text, images and visual identity) is the property of Espaço Âncora and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided with professional care but does not guarantee specific outcomes. We are not responsible for technical failures of third-party services, such as the internet connection or the video-call platform.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, you may use the Portuguese electronic complaints book (www.livroreclamacoes.pt) and the European Union Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
